Introducing Pixels by Jen

Good Morning everyone, I hope you are enjoying your weekend!  It was raining here yesterday so it was the perfect day for me to escape into my craft room and get some creating done.

For those of you who are into Digital Scrapbooking, Hybrid Scrapping or Cardmaking I want to introduce you to Pixels by Jen.  Jen has been designing digital scrapbooking kits for a while now and just recently has had the desire to cross over into the digi stamp market.  In doing so she was looking for a couple of new members for her design team and I am excited to say that I am one of her new CT Members.

Pixels by Jen's latest release (a few days ago) is a kit called Cafe Doodles and Digi Stamps which is perfect for a hybrid scrapper such as me.  I have a couple of cards I have created using this new kit to share with you today which uses these sweet doodles, combined with some traditional papercrafting, they are fairly Clean and Simple as I wanted to feature the image.

This card uses the vase with flowers image from the Cafe Doodles & Digi Stamps Kit by Pixels by Jen.  The image is printed twice, once on plain white cardstock and once on gloss.  The gloss image has been coloured with my Tria Markers, cut out and mounted over the plain cardstock image. I have edged the white cardstock panel with red, layered onto red cardstock and then placed over a Divine Swirl embossed strip of purple and card front.

For this card I used PS Elements to create the scene using the Vase with Flowers, the Empty Vase and the Table images from the Cafe Doodles and Digi Stamps Kit by Pixels by Jen.  The image has been coloured using my Tria Markers, cut out and mounted onto the card front.

For this card I used the Coffee Image from the Cafe Doodles and Digi Stamps Kit by Pixels by Jen.
I have edited the image in PS Elements adding the background frame and printed onto Vanilla cardstock.  I have then used white embossing powder to give a frothy appearance to the coffee and then coloured over this with my Tria Markers.  The cup was coloured in with Tria Markers and then covered with Crystal Effects to add dimension and shine.  To finish I added the White Heart Brad and stamped the Love you a Latte! sentiment.

The images I have used for my cards today are from the Cafe Doodles and Digi Stamps Kit by Pixels by Jen, as pictured above.

So if you are looking for some new images to play with be sure to check out Pixels by Jen.  You can find her store/website on the Gingerscraps Forum here, on Facebook here and her blog here.
