Going Back to School - PTT #30

This week our party theme is all about Going Back to School and the Design Team over at Party Time Tuesdays have created a fabulous array of projects to inspire you.

As we don't celebrate 'Back to School' quite as much in Australia as they appear to in the U.S. I went for something that would be a practical back to school project - A Bookmark, as every child is required to read some form of book at school right!

And how lovely would it be to have a encouraging message written on the back by a loved one, and if it was personalised with your very own initials on the front.

Digi:  Chi Chi Memories, Paper:  Stampin' Up!, Tag:  Time to Create Die Cut Tag Assortment
Ink:  Tria Markers, SU Choc Chip, Other:  Various Ribbon/Twine, Gold Krylon Pen, Cuttlebug Typewriter Alphabet

Our sponsors this week are:

I'm Adela and I live in sunny Southern California with my husband and our two teenage girls! Crafting has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I love to sew, crochet, knit, draw, paper craft, stamp... I love anything related to crafting! With encouragement from many people, my love of paper crafting in 3D has led me to open a website which allows me to share some of my template designs. I feel so blessed and I truly believe that God has given everyone their own special talents and it is our privilege to share it with others.

One lucky winner will receive 2 templates of your choice

This week the Party Planners want to challenge you to make your Kids, Grandkids, Favourite Teacher or that Special Teacher in your life a card.  We want to see those school themed stamps and embellishments put to work!   So what are you waiting for?  Please click HERE and you will be taken straight to the PTT blog where you can enter your card via Mister Linky.  Hope to see you there!

Danie, love your bookmark and the fabulous shape. What did you use to create it? A template or freehand, or a punch? Inquiring minds what to know. Love your colouring on the image

Hi Karen, the shape I used is actually from an assorted Die Cut Tag Kit I purchased from Julie's Store - Time to Create.

Great job with this book mark. Isn't it funny how the US goes totally overboard...and it is not even a holiday!
